Complicated is a better choice than Man Down PERIOD. Cheers is the obvious choice, & I wanted Fading a lot but Def Jam has decided to release CKB instead. Complicated is a risk but I think if it payed off it pay off extremely well.

NO. It's just a performance. It will only get the song exposure. If it does I will expect a Country adds date in April but I wont expect a Pop and Rhythmic adds date until May tho. S&M still has legs. It has a good 3 weeks to peak.

My opinion aside (since everyone knows I don't like Complicated), I completely disagree. Complicated isn't a song that would have legs on it's own and I don't think Rih would be able to pull it off live.

All I know is that I've warmed up to Man Down being a single at some point in time, preferrably like the last single or even a Rehab-esque release.

I think its because of the content of the song thats the problem. I'm sure she can get a Late Night performance on somewhere like Jimmy Kimmel or David Letterman but idk why she won't. This upcoming wee would be the perfect opportunity to get some promo in. I think maybe if she did a cleaner version of the song she could get on Ellen.

You screaming "PERIOD" after a statement doesn't make it true.

Fact: When Rihanna said they were deciding the next single, she listed 4. One of them was CKB and the others were Cheers, Man Down, and Fading.

She purposely didn't mention Raining Men, Complicated, Skin, or LTWYL2 because they will not be released. They aren't single worthy, and I'm glad Rihanna sees that.

I've given up on the #1, a #2 peak for a third single is excellent. It will probably sell 2.5-3 million in the end.
