Calling them/ using their online site works better anyways. It means you don't have to hide your location... Luckily, my phone can call US numbers with no hassle (other then long distance charges).
You guys will probably see better luck with tweeting requests, if your profile wasn't 100% Gaga-related. If they see links to buy the song, and stuff, they will just assume your a "bot" like the DJ guy said.

twitter works best with smaller stations. The days where we focused on stations in D.C./Houston/Kansas City/ etc. proved to be more effective then just focusing on Z100/Kiis
Do it on two-different accounts. Request to radio from a normal one.... and then spam your timeline for trending, charts, and stuff on a different account.
