Haha actually Vin, even though I may have expressed before that I don't like you, I've actually grown to learn that you're more sarcastic than I realize and have a lot of smart / logical things to say most of the time, even if you are trolling.

I've converted you.

Only 162 more stans to go.

Oh, I wouldn't be happy if Judas ended up sounding like BTW, but that has more to do with her telling us it'd be different and me knowing she is capable of better than any sort of significant antipathy toward BTW.
It's not like her music itself has drawn many comparisons to Madonna before this, anyway, aside from the bridge in DITD, which references Vogue (to achieve a different effect). The comparison has mostly been about her image before BTW.

I agree. Her image was compared to Madonna, not her music, which the media let slide. But in terms of "Born This Way," it's responsible to raise an eyebrow. "Judas" should sound current and nothing like the 80's or 90's -- we'll see.

Vin, did you answer my question about Ke$ha having released 5 (lesser) versions of Tik Tok now, and the catastrophic effect it is having on her (non-existent) album sales?
I'm honestly curious about your thoughts. I'd post in the Cannibal thread but it would be a case of a tree falling with no one there to witness it. :/

Nicole, you have GOT to start quoting. You asked the question again and I missed it? I almost missed this post. I'm in and out of threads in general and doing other things. I skim for interesting posts and quotes. "Vin" is a short name and hard to see without one. In any case, I don't personally feel all of Ke$ha's songs sound like "TiK ToK." All of her singles have a distinctly different sound and vibe to them, even though they are all electro. Her not releasing a ballad or slower song will have no effect on her whatsoever, seeing that every song she's ever released has been in the Top 10. So, people don't mind. With her next era, she will, at some point, release a mid-tempo or slower track with consumers reacting with: "The new Ke$ha. So, she really CAN sing." So it's a plus, in my opinion, that she hasn't released any ballads this era, so she can save the "change up" for the next album.
