Oh how embarassing, I just noticed the 'Rebecca album anticipation thread' is already 3x more popular than the Kesha thread for her album and EP.... in less than a week. If I were Vin I'd be playing in here too.

“Marry The Night is about my journey in the music business. It’s about how I decided that I’m really in it for the music, and not in it for the money, I’m not in it for the glamour and the parties…I’m in it to be a performer, and to be honest and truthful with my record. Why can’t I just live in a little apartment in Brooklyn, shove all my fashion into the biggest closet I can find and just live the way I’ve always lived?
I’d like to spend the money on a stage. I wanna spend all the money so I can make the biggest show I can.”
Oh, I wouldn't be happy if Judas ended up sounding like BTW, but that has more to do with her telling us it'd be different and me knowing she is capable of better than any sort of significant antipathy toward BTW.
It's not like her music itself has drawn many comparisons to Madonna before this, anyway, aside from the bridge in DITD, which references Vogue (to achieve a different effect). The comparison has mostly been about her image before BTW.
Alejandro got La Isla Bonita comparisons (that was a lot less subtle in the song's instrumental though).
