I've never heard Katy on urban radio, but Kanye is probably helping the song on Rhythmic.

The longevity of BTW is impressive. I can't believe it's been more than a month now. With Cee Lo slowing down, a 5th week at #1 is likely.

TTWE is WAY catchier than HIAM. Yet, i find HIAM is the better song, it needs to grow on you. TTWE as a 1st single would probably have done a little better.

you mean on hot 100 or on itunes? Cause it actually needs this longevity on itunes, othwerwise it wouldnt cross the 4 million mark, which would be kind of 'underperforming' for her scale. And i took it for granted, actually.

I mean on the Hot 100. And I wouldn't consider missing the 4M mark underperforming despite the strong start, mostly because I don't think the song is as strong as JD/PF/BR. I expected it to still be in the top 10, but not necessarily in the top 5 (and it's still #1 worldwide, according to Kworb's chart).

S&M going #1 on the Hot 100 is looking more & more likely every week
E.T. is pretty behind on radio, & gaining at the same pace as S&M. I also think by next week it will start decreasing just a little if the video doesn't premiere.

Songs take time to reach the 4 million mark! This is still selling over a 100K a week. Heck when the remixes and stripped down versions are released I see it selling a few more 200K plus weeks. Her other songs had the advantage of building up there sales over many weeks. By the time of there peaks they were already big sellers. BTW will just be fine! I am sure when it falls out of the top ten it will hover about in top 20 for many weeks.

ET is going #1 Im 99% sure about that.
And S&M needs to have some luck. And a little push from, either discount, Banner or performance.... But next week is probably the only chance it will have to go #1.
By next week I mean the following. This coming week BTW is clearly gonna be #1
Main obstacles for S&M:
- Born This Way, its falling on iTunes, but its still ahead on sales. and has bigger airplay. Next week it should be behind on sales (if S&M finally passes it on iTunes.) And its airplay has pretty much peaked. It wont go much higher it will be around 105M AI-110M AI by the 24th of this month. Id say... 165.000+105M = 270 points
- **** U, its falling on iTunes, and its already behind on sales. But its airplay is growing. (even if it looks like it is peaking.) It will be around 115M by the 24th, but sales will be smaller.... around 140K, so 255 points
- On the floor, its not gaining on iTunes anymore, and I doubt it will keep on selling around 250K next week. But anyway,lets say 220.000 copies and 30M AI (if it gains a bit better from now on), so 250 points
- E.T. Its gaining big on iTunes and if the main version goes #1 this week, I think it could go #1 as soon as next week... but anyway.... Stll behind on airplay and gaining basically the same as S&M. So lets say 65M AI by the 24th of this month, and next weeks sales to be around 230K, so 295 points.
- S&M could be around 180.000 (if they dont make any move)... and its airplay should be around 95M AI. so 275 points......
This means that if S&M does not sell around the smae as ET next week.... it will be very difficult to get that #1.
It could even go as high as #2... and be blocked by Katy......
She needs a performance if not this week the following. (before Katy premiers her video)

i wouldnt even go as far as zzmyth and say ET might sell 50K more than S&M next week, that would be the worst case scenario for S&M

All #1's singles from LOUD barely went to # 1 on BBH100 and stay only one week . I think S&M will miss #1 :/ !

IMO this remix doesn't deserve to be spend more weeks at #1 than Firework or Teenage Dream but oh well. The original is amazing, I think the remix caused the song to lose a lot of its substance. However, I'll still be happy if it hits #1 but 2-3 weeks would be more ideal.

"Born This Way" isn't done yet. if the remixes don't help it will fall from number one on the 6th week, but it will return because of the acoustic version (will it be getting airplay as well?) and there's also a glee episode coming sometime soon
