i really don't think it has to do with her age tbh. i know people will cite madonna & janet as examples to why this rule applies, but jennifer's career age is much younger than theirs. most people don't even know jlo is 40 years, she certainly doesn't look, act, or state it often.
i think they're just reluctant based upon her missteps & poor image since her peak. it's only in the beginning stages of becoming respectable to like jlo again - just give it time.
