Do we give a **** if The Fame Monster got awards and sold (a little more) than Rated R.
Only like what? 300k in the US more than Rated R?
Didnt Teenage Dream get nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammys? Does that make it better than Rated R?
Hell no.
For me, TFM was a step down for Gaga. The Fame was the PERFECT pop/electronic album.
TFM was generic and full of filler (So Happy I Could Die, Telephone, Monster).
Rated R was lyrically and musically genius. It was a HUGE step up for Rihanna music-wise, and underperformed only sales-wise, and not critically.
Fire Bomb, Cold Case Love, The Last Song...etc, are some of the best dark pop love songs in years.
The best album of the last 5 years, the album with the most sincere lyrics, the album that tells a true F**** Story!! im not here for the album who was only about getting a call or a text message.
Rockstar 101 and Firebomb ALONE shiiiiiiitsss HARRRRD on the other...
And Plz why r u bringing salez and **** into this.... we r comparing both albums musically, lyrically, fashion etc not about succes, sales and award nominations.
And as i said it before, im not here for artists who never take risks when it come to releasing albums!
And Rated R videos >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >> TFM videos, dont kill me monsters

now sis...the fame was a hot mess overrated album that had the saving grace of some key smash singles...tfm on the other hand was so much more cohesive than the fame and an overall better cd...at the end of the day though, Rated R still was better than both
