Bad Romance has become an event in my life and I always view the song and the video as a single entity. I also take the "bad romance with the media/music industry" as the most powerful meaning of the song.
Because of that, I've always taken the "Walk, walk fashion baby" as a statement of ferocity and her ability to sell herself to the man/industry. She wants the bad romance with the industry and can play the part; she's confident, she's fierce, she's elegant and in the end, though she may sell herself as a puppet of the industry/romance, she is in fact the one that's in charge.
But that's just my interpretation.
