And from the looks of it, none of the girls are lined up to release a ballad. Britney does mostly uptempos, same with Ke$ha. Katy Perry just released ET, and it's rumored LFN is next. From what I've read, I think GaGa's 2nd single is supposed to be a dark, dance track. J.Lo doesn't really do ballads. I'm pretty sure Pink is done, and Avril isn't fairing too well. Even if Beyonce comes out with a single in the next 2 months, odds are it's an uptempo. Those songs will all compete with each other, while CKB will have an easier time thriving.

Hmmm. First of all, Firework isn't even a ballad, more of a mid-tempo, and JTWYA is still hardly a ballad. CKB is just really not pop sounding, really rock influenced. Idk. I'm still not convinced that CKB wouldn't flop.
