I can't answer the question though, I'll have to see how long this era lasts, if there will be a re-release (hopefully/probably not) and how much life this record will give me

She was bankrupt just last year and she insists on investing large amounts of her income into the stage production of her shows as well as high budget videos so I won't be surprised if she ends up in debt again this year.

She bankrupted herself starting up the Monster Ball, she would have got her money back from tour revenue since then. After the success of The Fame/TFM her record label would have increased the budget for promotion. I doubt she is anywhere near bankruptcy.

Not to mention artists get more money from album sales etc if they actually have a part in writing their own music, which Gaga does.

Ok Gaga definitely spends a lot more money than the average popstar on clothers, shows, etc. but trust me when I say that she is still raking in MILLIONS, at the end of the day she's a businesswoman and her record label would NOT let her make losses for them. She could comfortably retire with her money and her grandchildren could still live from it. The state of the economy is the last thing she'll consider when thinking about the release of her next album

Taking breaks is not a good idea. Majority of the artists that have taken voluntary breaks have had a hard time coming back.
