I felt really scared/disturbed during the intro
this is the first time I see a Gaga video without knowing what to expect, I mean, I knew NOTHING about it and damn...I mean, I don't know if I liked it or if I didn't
I love the fact that she uses all the illuminati on purpose
I mean, the HUMONGOUS triangle at the beginning and the fact that the planet's name was Goat is just genius
I don't think anything will ever surpass Bad Romance, which benefited from the total unexpectedness when it came out. It was a huge step up for Gaga and that's why it's still viewed as her best video by far.
The intro is killer. So nerdy with all the 70s sci fi aesthetic and kinda creepy. The cinematography once again is absolutely gorgeous, clearly benefiting from having a fashion photographer directing her.
The Mugler inspired skeleton stuff should've been edited off. It doesn't make any sense in the video at all.
And I love that despite all the intended seriousness, she tops it off with that cringeworthy moment of blowing a gum, which kinda balances the mood for the video.
I agree that the choreography seemed much sharper at the Grammys. It was indeed very soft.
Overall, a solid achievement. She makes the best music videos by far out of any of her contemporaries. Just look at Katy Perry, Britney, Ke$ha and Rihanna's latest efforts and you should be more than satisfied with this.
Oh, and the separated front teeth are just another smack in the face for the Madonna comparisons. She's giving the media exactly what they want to the point where they are sick of it and move on. Clever move.
