I hope so, btw apparantly the problem with the German charts isn't that a song needs a physical release but that record labels can decide when a song debuts, and a lot of the time record labels wait till the physical release because a physical sale counts for more points on the chart than a download does.
I'm not sure if releasing promo singles on Itunes is a goo idea? Will it not distract people from buying the album? I dont think anyone will purchase 3 songs and then purchase the same album again in 2 weeks?

I just cannot fathom how in the DIGITAL era, across the world the digital sales are ignored to a SIGNIFICANT extent in many countries.

That means they discount the album price, with a "complete the album" feature that only charges you for the songs you don't have. It's not a terrible thing.

I think it will be fine. Taylor and Katy both did that, and it didn't hurt them. I think that iTunes seriously needs to push the COMPLETE MY ALBUM feature. If people knew about that, they would buy all the singles and just buy the album at a lower price!

Doesn't iTunes allow you to buy all of the other songs from the album, just not the ones you already have?
