Billboard's and Perez Hilton's website polls are an authentic representation of what people want to hear...

But...

Hot 100, i-tunes charts of 23 countries, and radio play data are not only an INaccurate representation of what people like, but also inferior to the the aforementioned method of using website polls?

That's really a weak logic, we can try something and not like it afterwards.

For example, "The Ketchup Song" would have garnered a lot of downloads at that time and charted in a lot of countries, but it will not be winning polls anytime soon.
