This is the highly anticipated comeback single from Pop Radio's 2009 & 10 Queen. It's also extremely fresh, current, and sounds completely different to all the Dr Luke/Max Martin productions radio has suffered through in the past 6 months.
I think that Interscope did suggest every hour airplay, but I think that her name and all the crazy monsters on twitter constantly tweeting every radio station for the past month or so was enough to seal the deal. I mean look at the reaction FLZ has gotten
"We were the first station in the world to play the song and it got us into the worldwide TWITTER Trending list, which is huge! Big props to DREW HALL, our Creative Services Dir. and Online Content Coordinator for staying up all night manning FACEBOOK, TWITTER, and getting the single on the air in record time!"
Stations like this that hyped the single have gained a lot of exposure in a key demographic, what more could a station want?
At the end of the day if people don't want to hear something then a station won't play it, no matter how much they're 'payed'.
