No....she passed songs that were ahead of her when she was at #29/30 last night. There are still 3 GLEE songs sitting ahead of her. She passed "Never Say Never," "Tonight," "Train," "Hey Baby," "6F7F," "Rolling In The Deep," "Coming Home," and "Marry Me" that were all sitting ahead of her.
If Born This Way blocks S&M/Rihanna from her fifth number one in Canada…
I would kinda be sad, actually. RiRi deserves number one, and I wish she could have snuck it in before GaGa. How does sales tracking working in Canada?

I've said this once and I will say it again. I have been Team Britney since I was 7. I can like them both. I do not understand the deep-seated animosity between the two stanbases at all. They are both really, really good. Soooo I don't see the problem.

I really dislike Lady Gaga but I love Born This Way! It may not be on par with Poker Face / Paparazzi / Telephone but it is a good song by itself. I love the meaning behind the song. I'm also glad of its success. I might actually check out Lady Gaga's album after all.

Listen to Express Yourself by Madonna.....Its relatively the same lyrics and beat.......I do like born this way though

Not much to say about this.... Smash single !! already Platinum, Top 10 on Hot 100, Top 20 Billboard Radio, Top 5 on both Rap and Hip Hop/R&B charts (#3 on both).. all we need is the video and it will continue to smash
Rihanna's GGGB era was huge and she was the biggest star back then and yet Russian Roulette underperformed.
When will people realize that if people don't like the song, no matter how much they'll shove it in their faces, they won't like it or buy it.
But you can't compare Russian Roulette to this. Rihanna wasn't promoting Russian Roulette pre-release, talking about how epic it was, having all the people around her give great reviews to the press for damn near 10 months. Russian Roulette also didn't hit iTunes the day it was leaked. They waited about 2 weeks for the US and 4 weeks for all the major markets (UK, Ireland,etc) so the song was already out several weeks, so no one knows what it would've done commercially upon instant release.
I don't like the song, I think its utter crap, but it's gonna sell very well because it's GaGa. I'm more concerned about the longevity considering Britney's HIAM had a similar performance and is now free-falling on iTunes in just about every country except America.
I hope it doesnt!!!!! S&M was #1 all week, so maybe it will still make it there!!! I hope,
