Some GaGa stans hate the song, everyone is allowed to have an opinion. The more I listen to it, the more I'm liking it. However, I feel the song is not universal at all, it's gayer than gay and of course there's nothing wrong with that, but other people can't relate to it. It's definitely gay anthem for the gays, which I'm assuming that was the purpose of it.
It's not supposed to be universal! It's supposed to make people mad and uncomfortable!
Which proves the point, Ke$ha tried to get her song out before Gaga, so she could say she cam out with the series of these inspirational anthems. And Katy Perry was definitely gonna release Peacock before Firework. It's all just a trend for the suicides that took place. Gaga made the song BEFORE the suicides.
And isn't Lady Gaga the only one who solely wrote her own song.....? lol
They are already planning for 30 million album sales
I think that might be an exaggeration, but BTW, if they give her the Katy promotion, is very likely to be the most successful song of 2011, if not ever.

She mentions straights and everyone else of all ethnicities and other lives just as much as she mentions gays.
I don't get why people see the word gay as louder as the rest of the people that the song is for. It IS universal.

Actually firework was the planned third single.... but the reason it exploded was because of the gay suicides.... without them, that song would probably be forgotten.
I cant at people thinking it was ok to wind crazy ways to criticize Only Girl when it came out by saying "I cant remember its chorus after the first listen." "Shes too happy." "The song is very forgettable."
But when one person says they dont like Born This Way, its the end of Jesus.

How can anyone say Only Girl's chorus is forgettable? They were lying.
