They will love it but at first listen it is not that amazing, that's all. You can tell it's a grower
I'm not even going to post my full thoughts. I get the feeling she's now surrounded with people who will praise her for any and everything she does, which up to The Fame Monster was pretty much deserved. The sad thing is this will have a HUGE effect on any new music from her because people are going to be afraid to tell her "this doesn't sound good" or "that's not a good idea". I'll wait to hear her album before I judge fully, but it's not uncommon that artists with HUGE debuts completely lose it on their second album.
For all those who are pulling the "it's un-orignal" card, in this day of age is EXTREMELY difficult to make anything completely 100% orignal. Your gonna draw your inspiration from someone. In this case it was Madonna. You cannot deny it is different what you hear on the radio today, and most of the younger crowd who have never heard "Express Yourself" or "Ray of Light" will be all over it. I've always dislike when people say "they stole from so and so." It's more a tribute/homage to someone's icon/inspiration... [ that is unless they did plagaize and steal it, but thats an entirely different thing]

This doesn't have "Ray of Light", let's not reach... but definitely "Express Yourself" for sure, and I even hear "Waterfalls"....

Britney didn't invent dubstep for "Hold It Against Me"; does that make the song invalid? No.
At the end of the day, whether Gaga drew inspiration from Madonna's early 90's era doesn't take away from the fact that it is an uplifting, powerful song about acceptance that somehow isn't overbearing or corny. Madonna is probably loving this right now, anyway.
Kudos to Gaga, and Britney for that matter, for coming hard for 2011
