Britney didn't invent dubstep for "Hold It Against Me"; does that make the song invalid? No.
At the end of the day, whether Gaga drew inspiration from Madonna's early 90's era doesn't take away from the fact that it is an uplifting, powerful song about acceptance that somehow isn't overbearing or corny. Madonna is probably loving this right now, anyway.
Kudos to Gaga, and Britney for that matter, for coming hard for 2011
