Yep, Bad Romance was the same. It's too weird until it becomes massive, which is a habit with Gaga.

This is why I loved the bit on Pop Justice's review, that when the moment when people accept, embrace and admire all of this, then Gaga has truly changed pop music.

Only with covers and other things. I think I'll love BTW the moment I'll hear it.
And the cover really grows on me. I'm excited to see if there really will be a transformation to an unicorn.

That's so true. Most people take some time to warm up to her. It's always been instant for me, I hope I like BTW from the first listen because it will be strange for me not to. If I don't like it instantly I don't think I'll like it at all. I hope the song doesn't take too long to take off like BR did.

Same with me. I thought Bad Romance was weird from the demo but I loved it once the hq came out.

I think So Happy I Could Die is the only Gaga song I remember loving at first listen.

That part of their review was so dead-on.

I didn't like BR at first because it didn't feel like a "normal" pop song to me. But then it was everywhere, and so I thought, I guess it is a normal pop song after all...and I was able to embrace it.
