True, but "Marry You" is already taking off without even being an official single. Glee covered it and it's a fan favorite; it would be kinda dumb to pass up on something like that. "The Lazy Song" can be released AFTER "Marry You." His shtick is working, so why fix something that isn't broken?

I'm not sure you know what the word "overrated" means because that word is definitely not synonymous with Bruno. Maybe some other artists, but not Bruno Mars.

I preferred Marry You over The Lazy Song when I first heard both of them but The Lazy Song is pretty good too. Almost every song on his album could be a single and do moderately well.

Maybe he WANTS to show his diversity more than just score another shoe-in hit. Bruno seems like a pretty dedicated and involved artist, and looks determined to show people his many different talents (i.e. NOT someone like ke$ha who has other things in their bag but just shows the flashiest).

Also, if Marry You is kind of a hit on its own, then why NOT release another and just keep stacking those hits?
