Maybe he WANTS to show his diversity more than just score another shoe-in hit. Bruno seems like a pretty dedicated and involved artist, and looks determined to show people his many different talents (i.e. NOT someone like ke$ha who has other things in their bag but just shows the flashiest).
Also, if Marry You is kind of a hit on its own, then why NOT release another and just keep stacking those hits?
