Well, Born This Way doesn't need to be a masterpiece. I do hope it is of course.
But if the album is good enough and solid enough, she has it in the bag.
She'll have 3 nominations for AOTY in a row. She'll become an even bigger and more dominant artist his year. It's her time.
As much as I think MBDTF is one of the best albums of all time and, yes, a true masterpiece I doubt the Grammys care about Kanye that much. He's been here for a long time, probably should've one for Late Registration, and he really isn't that loved by voting communities.
Gaga will take it in a cakewalk next year. It will be the first time since Barbra Streisand in the 60s that someone gets 3 nominations for AOTY in a row.
