I think he and Eminem both know/knew what they were doing though. The Die hard fans bought Recovery and will buy Detox regardless of the single choice. Meanwhile, we have a mainstream audience that probably won't touch either album unless there is something for them...hence, the mainstream friendly singles (and collabo's with mainstream artists definitely don't hurt)
Long story short, the Dre song is hot and I can't wait for the album 
.

yeah i know Alex is sticking to the same formula, and apparently 50 Cent is working with him on his Black Magic album, but I like the songs he's making

SMH. Rihanna has been there done that. Stop acting like Gaga is God and the only one who can have success. Some stans keep targeting Britney, Rihanna and others. Focus on yours. You responding to someone who shaded is just putting fuel to the fire.
2007 - Umbrella was the biggest song.
2008 3 songs in the top 15
2011 Will be no different
GGGB being the biggest album that was released in 2007. Charting in top 50 in UK and other countries after 4 years. Not to mention 6 songs in the all time world chart.

Were you not the one who started spitting out Rihanna's sales figures at me out of nowhere, asking who's that chick, who's that chick? And then you have the audacity to tell ME I act like Gaga is God and the only one who can have success?

Marry You was the perfect choice. I won't count COM yet though, pun intended and somesuch. It still has #1 potential. As long as Marry You gets released eventually I'm ok with it.
