I know Loud has legs but Rihanna should have promoted heavily this January to keep her momentum up. She could have even had the #1 album btw.

They need to bring forward the release.
But Vashetti, release date doesnt really count for that much, but it gives an indictation when it is going to be sent to UK radio and also when she will promote over here. It is incredibly stupid to have it in April when she will perform S&M at the brits (most likely), She needs the airplay to back her up.

She should go with the double album strategy. I think it will do wonders for her, BUT she needs to release around the holidays again.

I'd say by November , Loud will be standing at approx 1.5 milli maybe more or a lil less. Then we'd gotta hear the quality of the material to predict exactly where it will go. But im stickin to my guns and saying 3Milli at least. Plus her Loud US Tour will be around the Battleship release. That's going to be heavy promo where she can plug in both tour and album.

This album is going to last for quite some time.

I think Def Jam is gonna do some heavy promo around the same time as Britney. I mean think about it... Why would they start now when LOUD clearly doesn't need it. Rihanna is on the radio about 2-3 times every hour and even more now that who's that chick, Raining Men, S&M and AOTL getting adds... That's enough promo right there...You don't wanna over do it... Some people are already tired of hearing her...So being on TV would only make it worse. They're waiting till the competition comes. Which is very smart on their part. You don't wanna use up all your promo just yet.
