Ralph Simon @ MidemNet this afternoon
He’s working with Gaga’s managers on her global mobile strategy,
which aims to break her big in markets like Brazil, Russia, India and China.
In his speech he was explaining that Gaga should re-record the chorus of a new song in local languages.
Hindi, Mandarin, Spanish, Portugese and Russian. Apparently Gaga has done just that.
She's going to **** so hard on the industry

Well, there were reports about the languages.
I'm just glad they've narrowed it down to a chorus in a few songs.
That was worrying me.
It also explains it more clearly to me why this remix was released.
How stupid does she think we are to believe that was 'a little remix for a fashion show'
Yeah alright love

At least one song on Lady Gaga’s upcoming album will have its chorus re-recorded in a number of languages, to help her break different markets.
That’s what Ralph Simon explained at MidemNet this afternoon, in his Towards Music Ubiquity speech. He’s working with Gaga’s managers on her global mobile strategy, which aims to break her big in markets like Brazil, Russia, India and China.
Simon said he suggested that Gaga should re-record the chorus of a new song in local languages. “I said try Hindi, Mandarin, Spanish, Portugese and Russian,” he said. And lo, apparently Gaga has done just that.
Simon also advised the music industry to pay greater attention to ‘I&R’ during his speech. What’s that? ‘Innovation and Relevance’, apparently. Something Lady Gaga clearly isn’t short of.
