All pop music is pretty generic, it's in the genre's nature. There are degrees of generic, and based on this low q remix snippet, this falls under the low level of generic.

A) It had to basically reuse 3-4 lines over and over lol
and
B) It needed to be made into a 10 minute remix
However, if you compare this to the everyday pop material thats out right now, then its certainly not generic
