I love the intro to that video!
And I was just thinking about a conversation I had with my dad about Gaga. He's not really a Gaga fan and I was curious as to why not a few months ago, since he never gave any reasons when he said he didn't like her. So I asked him. I was straight up like, "Why don't you like Gaga, dad?" His answer? "I just don't." I rolled my eyes and blew it off. Then the other night, my mom, dad and I were having dinner and Gaga came up in the discussion. Something along the lines of "She's weird" or something came out of my dad's mouth, and I looked at him and was like... "Why?" He didn't really have an answer other than "She just is." So I thought about it, and I realized that he had an opinion of her in his brain, an opinion that made him think she's a freak, before he really got to know who Gaga was as a person, how she struggled so hard each day to make her dream come true, how seriously amazing she is, how good her music is, how absolutely incredible her live show is. He blew off the facts and stuck with his pre-formed opinion of Gaga and isn't willing to change his opinion of her. No matter how hard I try to make him like her, he won't. I feel like that's the problem with most people who don't like Gaga. They stick with their pre-formed opinions and never even give her the time of day. (I know this is probably already a given, but whatever)
Okay. I'm done. I'm tired. I think too much when I need sleep. Goodnight.
