Album cover, single cover, or at the very least confirming the single title weren't unreasonable things to expect

Yes. Ever since Telophone the hype for her material has been so off. They need to get it back on point before people really do start to lose interest.

I love her with every fiber in my being and even I can see these next few months going by slow and just being dragged out.

But I can see her still trying to put the final touches on things, finnish touring and keeping her fans entertained at the same time. So it is understandable to a certain point.

If anything, the longer wait will build stronger hype. Releasing right now would cause more overexposure problems.

Gaga can't release the album in the middle of the tour. There's so much promotion that's involved with putting out a new album, and trying to do all of that while touring at the same time would be brutal on her.

The whole world is watching her right now. She's not going to fade out just because we have to wait until May for her album.

And she is really, REALLY risking the overexposure by waiting so long. If anything, I will be mad if this delay backfires on her.

love100 made some valid points with regard to the mistakes GaGa has made. Her relationship with her fans has become far too personal, that's never a good thing. She was better off when she was more distant, there was an aura of mystery surrounding her. That's vanishing.
