It's weird that you metion lip-synching because I swear Hilary does that for all her TV appearances. But, the people who have saw her live said she doesn't lip-synch at all. Hilary is a very shy girl and it seems like she gets freaked out by performing live on TV and therefore lip-synchs. It never really hurt her album sales though.

It was pure delusion. There is nothing wrong with electro-pop. It's hot and at the moment it is selling better than anything else. No artist is too high and mighty or 'cool' to not follow the trend, especially Rihanna. She jumped on the back of that wagon hella fast as any smart artist would.

But Hilary did it way back in the day. I remember jamming to Dignity & Blackout at the same time wishing that there would be more music like it released and just look at the pop world now

Two under rated pop perfection albums from the last decade! Hilary and Britney don't get enough credit for those albums but I think it's their best work. (Well, Blackout is second to ITZ but you get the point.) Hilary should have had a Top 10 hit and winning major awards with Dignity.

Nearly every song on that album (bar the hideous Man Down) has electro-pop routes. Synth beats etc. Nearly every song has other genres woven in, as most good albums do, but it is mainly an electro-pop album.

She is marketing it as an electro-pop album.

Complicated, Fading, Only Girl, S&M and WMN are all strongly Electro-pop.

The entire album was pop perfection and mature beyond her years. I feel like the same thing is happening to Miley, CBT is a great album but the Disney image and HR **** it all up.

Both albums deserve more recognition especially Dignity.
