There's nothing inherently conceited about her claiming that she is a work of her own creation if it's true.

She didn't say that all those other girls are manufactured and can't claim any responsibility for their own success -- if people are paranoid and read that as being criticisms applicable to the artists they stan for then maybe that's their own issue.

Gaga's success exists independently of Britney/Rihanna/Beyonce's etc. and their success exists independently of hers. They all had different treks to the top, and nothing she has said reads as an indictment on the other girls fame unless they actually are manufactured.

I see nothing wrong with what she said. It's clear that she's passionate about her involvement in her music, and she wasn't implicating anyone else with her comments. I see no reason to read it as shade or even arrogance unless you're threatened.
