yeah she's very talented, but I don't think she's clever enough to keep herself relevant. She's wack from the business-wise. No shade, that's just what I think.
she comes off as a bit delusional, she keeps plugging songs that have already flopped like gimmie dat, she should have sang turn it up on ellen and release it as single. I don't really know what went wrong, she is much more talented then, say, keri hilson, she should be doing much better.
Im kinda dissapointted with this album.......she should have promoted Rated R more.......Rated R was flawless...it was EPIC.......i could literlally listen to every song and not skip anything....but with Loud, i just have to skip almost half............Rated R had so much more potential..........even if the label didnt think that, they should have done a Rated R re-release.........

it would have flopped like cannibal in the us sis, rated r was out of the top 200 at that point. If they had released firebomb instead of rockstar 101, then i could have seen success to justify a rerelease, but rockstar 101 flopping like that killed the momentum of rude boy and rated is a mainly urban album with no dance hits, in thei time it was never going to be much succesfull. It sold about the same as Alicia keys and sade so it actually did great for an urban album.
^It's so true...RS101 totally destroyed everything to the point that people didn't know Rihanna had a new single out after Rude Boy. It was actually really fortunate Rockstar 101 got that promo for the VMAs bc it probably wouldn't have charted otherwise. The single choices murdered Rated R.
In brighter news, my sis really likes California King Bed. And her, being someone who loves dance songs, gives me hope that CKB could become a hit if it were to be released.

I don't dislike the album. I don't love it, but I do love several of the tracks and like most of the others. But it's only been released a few weeks, and I probably haven't listened to it in about 2 weeks. I normally play albums a little bit longer.
