| | #65 | | Miley Cyrus - Two More Lonely People/Scars
I'm not a Miley Cyrus fan but that doesn't stop me from liking these two songs from this bitch's new album. I really love these and always the first ones I listen from Can't Be Tamed. If I had a band, I'll cover both of the tracks and put Miley to shame! *Inhales bong*

| #64 | | iamamiwhoami - T
From what has been transpired of what the lyrics dictate, umm it's about .... ummmm.... Jesus Christ I can't even pretend what the hell she's trying to tell. I assume her songs are somewhat linked to other songs and to be able to fully grasp the content of her purpose, one must watch and concentrate on the key parts. Bitch phluzzz.......enough of the ambiguous **** and speak! But the mystery keeps me coming back for more.

| #63 | | Katy Perry - California Gurls
One of two 2010 songs that have me playing for over 100 times in just under 24 hours! I know I'm such a fagg but this **** is hella addictive! And Katy on the video is so ****able! Perfect summer song in years! If only all the bois would wear daisy dukes all summer long... And gorls betta stay at home!

| #62 | | Maroon 5 - Misery
I just woke up one day and felt like listening to this song, especially after seeing that HOWT video. Then, I'm hooked. It's wicked. I can't say much about the song coz I hate the lyrics and its subject.

| #61 | | Jack Johnson - You and Your Heart
PERFECT song! Contrasts between your logic and your heart create an undesirable division that separates us all from achieving a harmonious co-existence with each other. And how some of the gorls trend their opinions in the fashion of general consensus. Hence, such negative outlook estranges our own self. You second-handers

Top 30 Albums of 2010 Akkording to ARKL
#30 Arcade Fire - The Suburbs
#29 Heidi Montag - Superficial
#28 LIGHTS - Lights.Acoustic
#27 Weezer - Hurley
#26 Jamiroquai - Rock Dust Ligh Star

| #25 | | Röyksopp - Senior
Highlights: Tricky Two, Forsaken Cowboy, The Drug
When to listen: You are stoned
Senior, the follow-up to Junior, sounds like the demented sister of his disoriented brother, in a calm atmosphere. The whole vibe is lethargic and at a stable pace, very tranquil at some points. Also, it's a good substitute for sleeping pills, even better than Leona's. 2-in-1 package, nice! |
| #24 | | Alex Band - We've All Been There
Highlights: We've All Been There, Tonight, Without You
When to listen: Can't find your The Calling cds
You thought The Calling is done? Well, you're right. BUT the main-man is not yet over and now he's trying out his luck if he can breakout with a solo effort. Gathering the sounds of his previous band from the last time we heard of them, We've All Been There appears to be just another TC album that never was. Not bad, not that good; but I wouldn't mind if it wasn't released at all. Chile is late and his music is outdated in today's terms. Only the geeks who never got out of the house will consume this! RIGHT.

| #23 | | Janelle Monae - The Archandroid
Highlights: the Overtures, Neon Gumbo, Come Alive (War of the Roses)
When to listen: Playing with the jumping rope
Who this bitch is? Yup, that's my question too when this alberm started collecting high scores from critics. I don't disagree with the hoes but it's a lil' bit overrated even for an unknown artist like her. I enjoy the interludes, too damn good! just wish the tracks lived up to the power of teh overtures. I can see her getting better in due time, but for now let's settle with what's been served.

| #22 | | M.I.A. - /\/\ /\ Y /\
Highlights: XXO, Born Free, Internet Connection
When to listen: **** surfing
Where should I begin? She's just amazing and one of the few who politically tackles social issues into her own songs. She can be a bit too reaching sometimes but you know she's an effing musical genius. However, her self-titled album (Maya) is a downgrade to her mother's titled album (Kala). I expect nothing but the best from her next album, of which I guess will be titled after her son Ikhyd.
|
| #21 | | Linkin Park - A Thousand Suns
Highlights: Waiting For The End, Blackout
When to listen: After you decided to be a vegetarian!
Linkin Park didn't convince me with this one. They changed their sound drastically that it's almost impossible to outline the group as far as the music is concerned. Im not that certain whether if they're attempting a commercialized music or chasing after a cutting-edge shift with the use of pro-tools to sound more aggressive and failed. To put it bluntly, the album is
