I think she could get away with not releasing another single as long as she promotes hardcore at ALL the big year end/Christmas shows. She should mix it up and perform Lollipop and Suki De at all of them and maybe even Anata Dake Ga at another one due to it being a hit because of the drama tie in.

I don't know, the songs are really good and all but I think it's time to move on. She released Suki De in September and it's almost December lol

My main hopes for the new albums success-wise are at the very least 200k first week and 300k total. I'm really hoping for 250-450k first week and 400-650k total though.

I don't know how much it will sell, but one thing's for sure, it will be way more than Utada.

Hikki's midweek sales for next day sales is 10k which means it will probably sell around 40-60k for the whole day. She's holding up pretty well judging by the midweek. I think 200-270k is possible for her at this rate and while it's very disappointing at least it's not a total flop.

I don't know anymore tbh. Like I said, this album is a Best + Farewell album. It is SUPPOSED to be a smash but it really seems like no one cares about her anymore and she isn't even gone yet.

Even though I've dragged her a lot earlier, it makes me feel sad.

Yeah while we dragged her a lot today I really do feel sad. Still I think she may be able to pull off 500-600k+ total sales in the end. Hikki isn't exactly the type of artist to have huge first day sales and sells pretty consistently. However for a farewell best gh album 500-600k is still pretty disappointing and thats only if she has massive longevity. If the album just goes at a normal pace from now she'll be lucky to match total sales of Universe.

If she decides to do some promo I think she could be able to do it, but as far as I know the GH video is the only promotion she's going to do...I don't think that will help her much at this point.

I'm happy with the sales. I was surprised at early predictions of 500K+ considering the GH is based on only two albums and Hymne à L'amour is such an awful song. She will still go out with a bang with her upcoming farewell concerts which sold out instantly and will be broadcast in cinemas and on TV.

Alex can you STOP posting tedious statistics all the time? At the end of the day, Utada is a million times more successful than what Kumi will ever be in 100 years so sush.

As for her GH she will sell very well eventually, and I don't get all the shade in this thread. The Ayu/Hikki thing was over after 2003 or so, so get over it. She's ****ing legendary.
