I really admire this obviously gay kid at my school. He's always dressed to the nines; today he wore a baby blue cotton jacket, a cool scarf and tight-ish light gray jeans. That's super conservative by his standards--it's not unusual to see him in skintight leggings or black jeans and a button down/small shirt. I'm sure he draws a ton of stares and nasty comments, but he seems very isolated and hardened, always looking straight ahead and rarely talking to people in the hallway.

I was supposed to do this dance with a few people at school for my senior lunch it was four girls and two dudes including me. we've been practicing but it'll only end up being me and two girls since the other two do basketball after school and the dude does too. so when we practice they really stay to themselves......but i learned the steps from watching them. so come audition the two girls who solely were at 'practice' with me told me, the dude and other two girls they would show the dance so i was like ok. because at the lunch we would all just join in with them. so after we found out 'we' made it. one of the girls implied she didnt want me or the other two girls in the dance. THEN at lunch talking to a friend of mines i hear some asshole was talking about how i was not dancing at the audition WHILE one of the two girls who were dancing was right next to him joinin in saying ridiculous things about how i'm stuck up and ****. I know i shouldn't let it bother me but it really hurt me since i let down my wall to make some new friends though i don't need them. I hated today.

Usual stupid highschoolers who start drama to make them look better than everybody else. It makes no sense to me.

Im bad at giving advice for these kind of things (early's specialty). So are you still going to dance or are you completely out?
