Can you give me an example of such a site? I keep finding articles saying that iTunes began to be the #1 music provider in Japan in 2005.

I know that stuff mostly from articles provided by IFPI.

I have read that the country in which iTunes is visited the most is Japan. But that's probably due to the huge number of people using the internet there. Also, that article was from 2008, so the US has probably passed Japan in terms of iTunes sales since then. But overall Japan is by miles the leader of overall digital sales.

Yeah Mora was facing stiff opposition by iTunes, but I think many of those companies are ahead of iTunes. I'm not sure about what's going on with the market shares tbh.
