She's new. Hard to believe given her massive popularity and all the cultural influence she has had in just two years, but she is still new. There's always the risk that she can flop. I don't think she will flop - I've already said this. I think BTW will slay. But at the same time, you have take what she and other professionals (not that stan that listened) who have listened to her album have said with a grain of salt - they are all biased. Not to say they aren't correct, because I believe they are, but still - they are biased towards the music just as we are.

It's a natural reaction to downplay something you're very excited about and you want to succeed. The criticism towards this album's future is rabid because it is being so over hyped to the point where fans can almost taste the possible disappointment.
