It depends on how long this goes on for. If they fix it by tomorrow then nobody is going to remember it in a few weeks, but if this problem continues for some time then they are going to lose a lot or respect. It's certainly damaging to their brand, Apple has always been associated with quality.

iTunes glitch was failure of updating the Popbars. I don't know if a lot of people couldn't access iTunes for long time, but I know that a lot of people could, but they simply couldn't view the Popbars. People don't buy songs based on their Popbars.

And if the glitch would have done anything it would be helping Taylor stay in the Top 10, since apparently she had the 'Top 10' promotion. This basically proves that people buy songs that they hear on the radio, and not of what they see in the Top 10.

Actually I feel like Ke$ha got lucky going to number one before the system breakdown because now she's at #1 till iTunes is fixed so more exposure

To be honest I think Chris Brown was affected by the glitch badly because he could have hit Top 10, and shown on first page, and more people would have bought the single, but since the glitch people didn't pay too much attention to him!

What your not understanding is there was no top 10 promotion for anyone . For 2 days the entire site was down . No Ke$ha banner , no Ke$ha under newreleases, and no Top 10 promo . All that was helping due to little airplay .

i just cant at these comments.....kesha is #1 on itunes and it says her name under new releases......the itunes is just not updated....not only that i see banners for toy story, taylor swift and glee....so a banner this week would have been an enormous amount of money going against heavy weights...so if she was to get a banner , it would have happened on tuesday

I live in the states and not canada like some of kesha stans on here.

i was able to buy songs all week long. and my itunes was not down. the pop bars were just not showing up and the numbers werent just updated.

If the majority of people couldn't access iTunes, there would have been tons of complaints for Apple and they wouldn't want to face lawsuits. Apple would have solved that problem within just minutes.

iTunes functioned normally, the only thing that's wrong is that it's simply not updating.
