I think a lot of her stans are like that, it's other people that have a tendency to dislike her. Regardless of whether the single is amazing or not I'm expecting a lot of negativity, as was the case when Bad Romance premièred.

Me too. I can't even fathom how one could dislike it, to be honest.
It's different - sound wise and vocal wise - compared to her first four singles. To me, then, it's understandable why people wouldn't like it at first.
TBH, I despised Bad Romance first listen. I though it was a hot mess, until the anticipation of the video kicked in. I started to gradually listen to it. Once the video came, the song seemed so much more epic!

I loved both instantly, so I'm sort of anxious for another reason... I hope I like the new single straight away, but it's possible that I won't. I didn't like DITD instantly but I grew to love it, I bought the single version when they released it to the Irish iTunes store.
