Yeah it's a definitely a good song, but not as good as the Teenage Dream Dr. Luke tracks...whether or not you like that kind of music, those hit your right away.

Sorry I've seem some lyrics refer to a refrain as a part that is practically irrelevant to the rest of the song, and it's kind of just there.

Why? Some of the posters here have legitimate posts about their disdain for this song, myself included. The problem is that you don't like hearing the other side.
This song isn't that bad (after a few listens) but someone here hit the bullseye with their comment: this shows regression, no growth at all. How do we take her seriously if she remains static with her music?
Now I'll be the first to admit that I loved Tik Tok and Take it Off, but this is just not even close to the level of those songs. It really is quite disappointing.
