I'm actually really happy for Kuu because I love her but I just don't think Suki De deserved it...she has released better singles than that one

Well, Kuu was like...my first J-Pop artist after Utada so I love her a lot. Real Emotion brings me so many good memories.
If we were talking about Suki De and crossroads the only chart crossroads has topped is the Oricon Singles Chart while Kuu has topped everything else. Also Kuu is having MUCH more longevity but IMO she deserves it.

Anyways, has anyone heard Kuu's "Eternity ~Love & Songs"? I didn't like it too much but I would like to hear more opinions.
'Queen of Hip-Pop' is actually my least fave of Namie's recent albums though.
Radio, you should give 'PLAY' & 'PAST<FUTURE' a chance once you're done with Kuu

I think he would really like Deep River and ULTRA BLUE.
Like Tim said, Namie's vocals are not the best but they are pretty good.
Maybe she does sound weak in some songs but that doesn't mean her voice isn't good
I never said her singing isn't good though! 99% of the time I just don't like when she, and any singer for that matter, does that half-assed singing/sing-talk nonsense. It does not sound good.

An uptempo just has to have certain things. Like good singing and good catchy music, beat, rhythm. Namie's uptempos were like always lacking at least one of the three (esp vocals and usually music as well).
