After several multi platinum albums and a Diamond record he doesn't need her for ****. Your comment made no sense and that's why I called you out on it.

I agree, it's what I meant by writing that there is no necessity. He is an established artist who has proven time and time again that he can deliver hits without collaborating.

He's certainly not someone who has the need to utilize twitter in order to receive attention and publicity.

That's the point. He is still relevant and has no problem doing it on his own. If he says he wants to collaborate, it's not out of desperation, but out of genuine interest to make music together.
