I actually prefer Michael Gambon. Harris was too old and lacked energy.
Me too, Michael Gambon makes the character more energic, which he has to make believe that Dumbledore is the one that Voldemort fears. Also Maggie Smith should be killing on the last movie because she's a great actress but, McGonagall is losing relevancy since 1st movie
Oh and why do they always wear muggle clothes instead of the robes they are supposed to always wear. What is with the suits, jeans and shirts etc.
It's because of the damn new director that directed the 3rd movie. He started those changes (and Hermione's hairstyle as well--from big long and bushy to more straight and wavy ). I dont' know if he still directs the movies now, but it's been that way ever since he changed it.
Some of the clothes don't look like they're from the 90s.
I know they can't get it perfect but don't have them dressing in the fashion trends that is popular when the movie is filming.
No one cares about the timeline. The ST0RY is all that matters.

You better believe it. I've gone to almost every midnight showing. I've even seen some of the movies 2 times in theaters. I also get pretty damn excited for each. But like all movies made from books, they just don't compare. It's just that some of the things they make up or leave out are uncalled for. The only movies that really get on my nerves are 4 and 6. I still watch and enjoy them anyways. Every true Harry Potter fan loves critiquing the movies, it's fun
