She got blacklisted after the lawsuit. People in Japan believe if you sue your master/label you are doing a HORRIBLE CRIME no matter what the circumstances are.
Yeah. Many people were upset about it and Avex canceled all future promo for her album Kingdom only after two days. All her endorsements were kept on hold while some were canceled. It was rumored Avex would drop her and her tour would be canceled. She did an apology on TV crying her heart out and after the apology over 90% of people said in a poll the apology was not enough.
