Gaga's opening week will be huge, mainly because of her fanbase. It's huge, look at Twitter, Facebook etc. Not to mention all the superfans who will be buying 10 copies in the first hour. I mean, she buys them pizzas, invites backstage and all that stuff, how can they not support her after that?

her fanbase is also very critical to gaga tough.

i read some sites and i even read gagadaily and livejournal.. while other fanbases are blind.. gaga fans are very very critical if they don't like something...

in europe she won't have problems.. european fans are more loyal and european critics love her .. gaga is seen like madonna ( at least here in italy).. there is a lot of hype around her in europe ( alejandro did great in europe)
the problem is in usa and similar.. they are less loyal, they like the britney-kehsa-katy perry generic sound..
it didn't surprise me that a song like alejandro didn't well.. they like party songs or country or rap

She sold 325K during Black Friday. And sales came from 2 albums, although most people bought the deluxe for the new music. But still.
