So bad at people saying this list doesn't matter, but stupid articles on rolling stone naming freakin' beyonce or rihanna artists of the year or decade or whatever, matters? When in fact the world doesnt even listen to them enough to make them #5.
This is EXACTLY what people are listening to now. It measures accurately who listens to what and how much. People illegal download these days, so even though album sales etc, can measure success, sites like lastfm are FAR more accurate in all ways.
Congratulations to Lady Gaga owning the past 2 years. 13 million album sales and clearly most popular female artist in the last 20 years. Well done!
