Really? You know that Janet has a lot of creative input in her albums; she writes her songs, she produces her songs. She doesn't sing songs written/produced by others. You know that.

I don't know, she just seems a lot edgier and a lot less sweet. And I liked that sweetness.

Rihanna's change has nothing to do with Lady GaGa though and Bey's change is for the better.
