The thing is A mixtape isn't any sort of mistake. It's helping her and capitalizing the success of "Ride" on Urban/Rhythmic radio and she's on her grind to make a strong comeback from her last album. One of her mixtape tracks ("Pretty Girl Swag") is even charting on Billboard.

'Ride' is doing exactly what it should be doing which is gaing her urban audience fatc! But what she doesn't realize is the urban audience doesn't make the market, it's the pop audience that's really why i want her to push 'Gimme Dat'. I don't want her to go to urban she loses her remaining pop audience.

If your talking about SALES then Beyonce sure as hell didn't. In some way shape or form. .Then Ciara getting a much higher first week with The Evolution should count for something should it not? 'Single Ladies' is the best selling digital song from a Black female artist. 'Irreplaceable' has a record for radio that no one is touching no time soon. Yes DIL is her best selling album, but in all fairness she has made up for it Beyond words. And Ciaras popularity has grown but yet.... 'FR' still didnt sell?
