Am I the only one who sees The Fame & The Fame Monster eras as one entire era? I mean yeah, they are different in various ways, but altogether I think both of them go hand in hand.
It's like she said during her Fuse interviews about the re-release issue, "It's a re-release that is my old record attached to an entirely new album. For me its in conjunction with the first album and makes it much more of a complete sense. The album in itself, The Fame Monster, is the yang to the ying of The Fame."
I just think that both together combined with what she's done in pop culture over the last two years is an era in itself....the era of GaGa.
I see it as a new era since she changed her image completely to go with it
I know she sold over 300K with TFM if you count TFM deluxe too. 174K for TFM and about 150K for TFM DL so I think she can sell Britney numbers first week.
If anything, I feel it's more of a spin-off of "The Fame." TFM is a bunch of songs created from her fears of fame, which she glamorizes in the first album. So perhaps it's such, or TFM is kind of an alter ego - two sides to Gaga.
If the next era is handled as well as the previous one(s ) and the music is as good as she's making it out to be then she could definitely do 1 million+ WW. I think that her presence is much larger internationally rather than in the US.

The bulk of her sales do come from the US though....
I hope she opens with at least 700-800k in the U.S. That's a lot, but I don't see why can't she do it. She has everything - great music, great promotion, huge fan base.

That's quite a lot there, you think she can actually pull it off?
