Telephone gets too repetitive at the end too. It almost pulls a Poker Face with its "stop calling, stop calling, I don't wanna think/talk anymore"...
Yeah, it sounds repetitive at the end because in the video there is a break after the first "stop calling" part. But in fact, the whole chorus (3 parts) only repeats 2 (?) times in the song.
LOL at us sitting around waiting for Gaga's new album and picking her songs apart to pass the time.
If you listen to poker face closely, the beat (no vocals, etc) does not change at all throughout the song
And Natalia kills - Mirrors sounds like an inverted Poker Face
I know but like, it has the opening (ra-rah's), then verse, then the pre-chorus (ya know that I want you), then the actual chorus, and then of course the bridge and the parts in French.....I just feel like it has so much more.
"Telephone" is wonderfully structured too.
I know exactly what you mean. Telephone's amazing because the structure is so unexpected and non-traditional, while Bad Romance is more about excess everything. Endless choruses and bridges going back to back....Both are so addicting

Complete opposite. I actually thought "love game" would flop and i really wanted Paparazzi to be the third single. In fact, I still belive that if Paparazzi had been released third it would have outpeaked "love game"
