Seems like your eyes might burn if you see a band thats not Paramore, Green Day or Maroon 5 winning a survivor. Specially against those overrated female artists.
Kylie is an ok winner but Marchin On is waaaay better and so were some other songs in the list.
And again, ATRL has shown they have NO CREATIVITY and now the Personal Survivors area is filled with monthly countdown survivors. I hate being part of a crowd, so I just wanted to let you know I might not return for another monthly survivor.

Like when somebody randomly started a MC thread in the games section, and the whole site did the same thing, then I started the MTVLA survivors and a couple of months later there were like 10 other threads about the same thing. Then someone started a monthly survivor about their cd and now everybody is doing the same thing.
It might flop but Im sure someone already thought about making a thread about "The Worst Single Of..."

Well, I think you just need to create on your own & ignore others then, most people just want to have fun & don't think about creativity

1. Monthly Survivors is something ANYONE can do. It doesn't require creativity!
2. You INFLUENCED others to start MTVLA survivors. And chances are, you WOULDN'T have been able to host ALL of those survivors. It would take forever. So be glad people are actually hosting those things.
3. Musical Chairs is fun and interesting because literally, it is in control of whoever comes across the round. It's first come, first serve, and that's what I love and hate about it ()
I think it's not about artists being overrated, but the majority of the board likes All The Lovers, that doesn't mean that the song is overrated, personally I consider a song overrated analyzing it's success, I think u shouldn't quit because the users don't agree with your personal taste, yours survivors are aways great ways to discover new songs, at least for me, and finding more things about each other's tastes.
As for monthly survivors people do them since I've joined ATRL and that's a long time ago, for example, I've started my first on 2006 and it was related with my old Voting Top 10, so I don't think there's a lack of creativity on that part, but I totally agree with you about the Musical Chairs thing, that was hell.
So... hehehe, please don't stop doing survivors, and just focus on the real reason that survivors were created for, knowing more about each other and what's on the majority of the boards users minds, not every time our favorites win, but that's life, most of the winners of my survivors I hated, but what can we do? Better luck on the next survivor.
