"OMG" went Top 3 on Urban.
"Imma Be" went Top 10.
After "Ride" smashing, Urban would definately support.

Either way, as long as she got her self another hit we're good, so I'm just hopin' that w/e she decide to choose it will pay her off.

I think the only song that would get messed up on the Hot 100, would be the Urban single. And like I said, imo "Gimmie Dat" is not a song that could get her 30 Million audience from Urban alone (like "Ride" or "Speechless") so CHR & Rhythmic would be it's support and those formats have NO problem pushing downloads, as the Urban AC/Urban audience has no problem pushing album units, and "Speechless" would defiantly touch both the immature and mature audiences of the Urban market.
I would much rather her release something like "Get It Girl" and just get one Hot 100 hit but if they just have to do it this way, then I honestly wouldn't mind.

"OMG" is Usher's single...they will play pretty much anything from him. Urban didn't even play "Get Up" like that, so they wouldn't play "Gimmie Dat" up until the Top 3, trust me.
"Imma Be" is URBAN enough to reach the Top 10, if an Urban artist like Ciara, Ne-Yo, Usher, Beyonce, etc released that, it would have went Top 5 on the format.
I remember you even saying yourself, "Gimmie Dat" might not do much on Urban.

GD is great but I don't see it have the power Ride has, I have a feelin' GD might fall short pretty fast.
Speechless is like an upgraded Ride and I think in terms of radios it will perform the same, it won't peak in a week or two.

As you and Tierra said, GD probably wont hit Urban as hard as Ride did but I can see it SLAYING Rhythmic and Pop AND Itunes which would make it a bigger overall hit than Ride.
I think it will make much more impact than Speechless would. I REALLY hope they EX that off as a release

Something like "Get It Girl". Meaning something that would SMASH Urban as well as the other formats.
"Gimmie Dat" a SMASH, a waaaaaay better single than "GIG". That's just how it is.

I say go for Speechless, end of the story, if they will go for 2 singles, than I dunno, that's a hard pick.
Maybe something fresh we don't know?

Yea I did say that, but i'd rather just one single.
Sounds like Jive is doing the same thing with Ciara that they did with Usher.

Well, you know what, I'm just happy that I'm sittin' here being torn on which single will do better cuz' I love them all and think they are all great choices.
Only goes to show that this era is off to a great start.

Apparantley a 3rd/4th single is already lined up called "Heavy Roatation" (something we haven't heard before) and will be released after "Gimmie Dat" & "Speechless".
But this is all coming from SOUNDZ, so weather it's confirmed or not is beyond me.

Ride could go Top 40 on Pop if pushed, I don't even question that.
Speechless could go even higher.
Like I said before, all we need is them to choose already and start pushin' the release cuz' we are a month away, it's almost their time to start pushin' the second single [2 weeks before the album release would be great radio push and digital release with the album release].

Speechless wouldnt give her ANYTHING right now Tbh. It sounds like a watered down Ride slash leftover. Its ridiculous to even be thinking about the 3rd and 4th single a month BEFORE the album even comes out so I doubt all these apparent plans will even stick.

I dunno, For me It doesnt hold NEARLY as much power or Punch as Ride does and maybe if Ride never happened it would'ave been alright but now its just going to be redundant having it there. It was ok when it was just a simple leak but now having it considered to be a single. .
