Couple of things.

1. People see you as a party girl because YOU CONVEY THAT IMAGE. Want respect as a cleaned up artist? Stop singing about drunken parties, etc.

2. If you don't care to control public opinion, then why even address this in the first place?

3. Serious artists are those with vocal talent, entertainment or both. A bit of eloquence helps too. Your records are #1 because they're FUN, but I can't think of anyone who would take the "Animal" album seriously. It's just party songs.

And who said these posters were all GaGa stans?
Even if they were, at least GaGa has tact and knows how to conduct herself like a serious artist.

The point of the article was not whether she was here to stay or not, it's about being misrepresented. I could care less if she fades or stays. Unlike other trolls in GaGa threads, I tend to just ignore artists I do not like, stopping by some threads occasionally to debunk.

I simply stated that if she wants respect, she has to earn it not through chart success, but through the integrity of her character. Are we supposed to believe she's a tactful, respectful person when her own interviews are full of shrewd arrogance and blatant "If u don't like me **** you."?

If she wants to keep the party girl image (which is fine), then she shouldn't complain bout misrepresentation.

That's the dilemma she's now facing.
